April Fool: delicatrocities returns to the Victoria Theatre &
The Victoria Theatre is up and running again after two months of darkness, and delicatrocities will be there to celebrate with a modest selection of tricky treats on April 1, 2012: Honey Crack’d Corn & an assortment of cookies.
Of late there have also been sightings at select SF Cinematheque and Other Cinema screenings at Artists’ Television Access in San Francisco’s Mission District, so check here or on Twitter for last-minute updates. The email list is currently on hold pending further revision.
& some new delicatrocities are in the works, so stay tuned!
In other, more crucial news, SF Cinematheque is ramping up for their annual Crossroads film festival, featuring recent and rediscovered experimental and avant-garde films and videos. This type of festival is a rarity on the West Coast, and it needs your help, as it is only in its third year, and most people have yet to catch on. The festival will feature amazing work from a wide variety of national and international filmmakers, including Basque filmmaker Laida Lertxundi, whose work is screening at the Whitney Biennial this week, and British film performance and installation artist Greg Pope, direct from his home in Norway. Further updates and teasers to be announced, so please help make this festival the best it can be by contributing to its Kickstarter campaign (only 9 days left and so far to go…): http://kck.st/zNr1te
That’s it for now…see you in the trenches.
